He took us to areas where controlled burns had taken place and told us about the succession of plants coming in for new growth. He took us to some bones of a deer that he has been watching for over two years now. The deer was mostly intact when he first found it and now only scattered bones are left. Our lunch was a wonderful bowl of salmon soup and bread…”
